Streptocarpus Citron

Streptocarpus ‘Citron’, 2009, IR091123, Gunilla Ridderberg, Sweden. (S. ‘Bristol’s Tiger Lily’ x S. ‘Iona’). Cross made July 27, 2007, planted Sept. 24, 2007 and first flowered June 16, 2008. Fertile but reproducible only vegetatively. Compact rosette.  Leaves medium green, 7 in. long x 1 ½  in. wide, linear with serrate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx fused.  Pedicel 5-6 in. long with 6-8 flowers per peduncle.. Corolla salverform, 2 in. long x 2 in. wide, soft lilac with yellowon upper petals, lilac veins.
