Streptocarpus ‘Al’s Pal’. 1998, IR98557, D. Martens, TX. [1994]. (‘Double Raspberry Parfait’ x ‘  Blue Mars’ ). Reproducible only vegetatively. Large rosette. Leaves bullate, green, 29 cm long x 7.1 cm wide, linear with crenate margin, acute tip and cuneate base. Calyx green, 5 mm long. 3-5 flowers per 17 cm peduncle. Corolla semi-double, salverform, 6.5 cm x 5.7 cm, violet RHS 82B with heavy dark violet netting and white throat. Color photo, Gloxinian 48 (4). Best Streptocarpus Class 27A, 1998 AGGS Convention.
