Smithiantha Pat’s Pet Lion

Smithiantha ‘Pat’s Pet Lion’. 2006, IR06950, Gary Dunlap, MO. (S. ‘Sunshine’ x S. multiflora). Cross made Oct. 31, 2000, planted Mar. 28, 2001 and first flowered Sept. 15, 2001. Reproducible only vegetatively. Erect, 25 cm tall. Leaves hairy, mottled olive and medium green, 15 cm long x 10 cm wide, orbicular with serrate margin, acute tip and cordate base. Calyx green, split, 6 mm long. Pedicel 4 cm. Corolla salverform, 4.5 cm long x 3 cm wide, orange tube, white lobes dotted pink, yellow throat. Available from Pat’s Pets.
