Primulina Yueguang

Primulina ‘Yueguang’, 2024, IR241977, hybridized Lin Mao, Sun Lina, Chen Er, Li Bing, Wu Jianyun, Tang Qiumin,Yang Shuting; Guangxi Forestry Research Institute, Nanning, China. (P. napoensis  x  P. macrorhiza). Cross made 03.06.2019, seeds planted 04.23.2019, first flowering 03.01.2020. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem length 3-4 cm. Leaves GREEN GROUP NN137 Greyish Olive Green A, 7.0-13 cm long, 4.5-9.0 cm wide, 2.5-4.5 cm petiole, elliptic with acute tip, cuneate base, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, YELLOW-GREEN GROUP 144 strong yellow green B, length 10-12 mm. Length of the pedicel 1.6-2.0 cm, 4-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform 6.0-6.2 cm long, 3.0-3.1 cm wide, VIOLET GROUP N88 Light Violet C. High flower count, large blossoms, sturdy bloom stalks, soft hair. This hybrid has strong adaptability, high requirements for light, water, prefers shady environment.
