Primulina ‘GCCC’s Yao Zan’, 2023, IR231965, hybridized by Tan Ke, Wei Yi-Gang, Wen Fang, Chou Wei-Chuen; Guangxi Institute of Botany, CAS & GCCC, Guilin City, Guangxi, China. (P. sinovietnamica x P. yungfuensis). Cross made 05.13.2018, seed planted 09.15.2018, first flowering 05.22.2020. Sterile. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green with extensive light markings, thick, fleshy, pubescent on both surfaces, 2-3 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, petiole 1-1.5 cm long, ovate with an acute tip, cuneate base, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 3-5 mm long. Length of the pedicel 15-20 mm, 10 or more flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2-3 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, purple. This hybrid prefers bright scattered light, moist, well-drained, calcium-rich soil with limited fertilization.
